CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 285(JUD) "An Act adopting the Uniform                                         
Electronic Transactions Act; repealing certain statutes relating to                                 
electronic records and electronic signatures; amending Rule 402,                                    
Alaska Rules of Evidence; and providing for an effective date" was                                  
read the second time.                                                                               
                                                                                                    
Senator Ben Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill                                 
be advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Senator Ellis                             
objected.                                                                                           
                                                                                                    
President Therriault stated CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 285(JUD) will                                     
be on the May 9 calendar.
